This is a microinjection technique used to improve skin texture, luminosity, laxity, and fine superficial wrinkles. It is usually applied to the face, neck, and/or décolleté. The procedure involves small deposits of a product, which can be non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, vitamins, trace elements, PRP, etc. Although a microscopic needle is used, the numerous tiny injections can be a bit uncomfortable, so we usually apply anesthetic cream and/or ice to make it more tolerable.
Typically, 2 to 3 sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart are recommended to ensure optimal results, although if the skin is not very “damaged,” a single session may suffice.
